I attended your 2008 notarial lectures in Cape Town.  Unfortunately, I was not able to write that year.  Nor was I able to write it in June 2009.  However, at the end of June and having purchased your 2009 updates, I finally decided that I would write the notaries in October.  I registered early so that there would be no going back and systematically worked through your course notes & practical examples.  The Cape Law Society (Cape Town, PE, Grahamstown and Kimberley) pass rate for the October 2009 Notarial Exam was less than 21%.  Of the 58 candidates who wrote only 12 passed.  I am pleased to tell you that I was one of those few.  Although I thought that I had done better than I did, -55% - I am not complaining because I passed it first time.   Many thanks for your excellent course material which is comprehensive and well structured.  I will continue to update the course annually because I am sure it will make an excellent reference source for notarial practice.

I took both the Conveyancing and Notarial course. Last year September I passed the Conveyancing exam, first time around, after completing Gawie’s course and this year June I passed my Notarial exam on the first attempt as well.
Today I received a notice from the Law Society of the Northern Provinces informing me that I had been the most successful candidate in the June Notarial exam, my mark was 91%. I will be presented with a certificate at the AGM held on the 7th of November 2009 at Sun City. I am extremely grateful for your AMAZING assistance and would recommend both these courses to anyone. I am over the moon! I looked at all the results and it seems that I was third highest in the entire Cape Province.
